The Grace Period for Submitting Your Required Report is From October 1, 2021 Until November 30, 2021

A 60-day grace period for Provider Relief Fund Reporting in Period 1 has been granted to providers experiencing challenges due to Covid-10 surges and natural disasters. The 60-day window is from October 1, 2021, through November 30, 2021. This grace period allows providers to come into compliance with their Provider Relief Fund reporting requirements if they were unable to meet the initial September 30, 2021 deadline.

There are a few key details to be aware of during the grace period. If you did not submit your PRF report by September 30, you are out of compliance. However, recoupment, or other enforcement actions will not be taken during the grace period. Providers should return unused funds as soon as possible after submitting their report.  All unused funds are required to be returned no later than 30 days after the end of the grace period on December 30, 2021.

The grace period is only applicable to the Reporting Period 1 submission deadline. There is no change to the Period of Availability for use of PRF payments.
